Life is like an analogy
In an effort to make sense of my life I subscribed to Michael Hyatt’s blog, because it talks about “Working Smart - The alternative to working hard!” And goodness knows we all want an alternative to working hard.
Now as it happens, Mr Hyatt stopped posting to his blog the minute I subscribed. Because, it turns out, of a death in his family. (I originally put “a sad death in his family”, but it seems that extra word is redundant.)
I hope he’ll be posting again soon, as he’s a good-looking, square-jawed kind of a guy with a sharp suit and a very conspicuous watch. It reminds me that life is like an analogy: you start off thinking it conforms to some kind of pattern or shape that you’re familiar with, but in the end it always breaks down and goes its own unique way.
