Streamload.com, for all your filing needs

Today’s megabyte magic concerns Streamload, a rather neat service pointed out to me by an esteemed colleague. It simply stores files for you — but it does it in an imaginative and thoughtful way. There’s unlimited storage space; you don’t pay for uploads; you only pay for downloads (there’s also a free version). Significantly, it provides a variety of streaming and sharing options. For example, it offers music and video streaming of your uploaded multimedia files, and you can send out files’ URLs which are individualised and valid for limited periods.

It reminds me a bit of Flickr — a simple idea with a wide variety of usability options.
