Just another sordid statistic
When I saw The Register’s headline “MS Hardware in nipple flash shocker” I didn’t click on it. I almost clicked on it, and then I realised at the end of the day someone at their offices would look at their site stats and say “Surprise, surprise. The nipple story was the most popular one today. God, people are predictable”. And I didn’t want to be one of those people, so I didn’t click on it. Instead I highlighted the headline with my mouse in order to blog about it. But I mis-clicked. And now I am just another sordid statistic. Damn.
(But I still haven’t read the article. Honest.)
