I am really sorry to hear that Le Petit Prince has closed down.
My boyfriend and I were not very sure if they were refurbishing or they closed down that's why I researched the internet to find out and what a surprise. How can such a lovely restaurant, offering good value and superb food and with so friendly people closed down!! I hope they think about it twice and they open it again!!! I need to have another cous-cous there please!!!
I wish the best to the friendly people whatever they decide to do.

Nope, not been anywhere similar before or since, I'm afraid. Although that's probably partly because I don't go out as much as I should. Sorry.

I never ate there, but was planning to upon my next visit to the capital. I've been by many a time, but never made time to step inside. Is there a similar restaurant you'd suggest?

I forgot to mention that we ended up going to the Bengal Lancer on Kentish Town Road. First time I'd been since it swapped the flock wallpaper for the Ikea decor. The trendy look belies the excellent food, and I'd recommend it. But still, no Le Petit Prince...

Nooooooo!
Oh that's a tragedy. Well, a tragedy in restaurant terms - lovely place, friendly, cosy, great food, cheap. Why do all the good places go and the chains just keep on getting bigger?
