I wanted to lock my screen without using Ctrl-Shift-Delete and found this useful…
(1) Open up a new Notepad file.
(2) In it, insert the following single line, verbatim:

rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation

(3) Save the file on your desktop and call it lockscreen.bat
