TalkTalk network status, anyone?

My dad is apparently having problems with his TalkTalk broadband connection. (I hear this second hand, as I got home late last night.) Failure to connect, connection dropping after a short time, etc. The TalkTalk help line seems permanently engaged. Bringing up the TalkTalk website reveals — surprisingly — no link to a “network status” page (unlike, say, Demon, Tiscali, BT, etc). Nor can I find any discussion forums where a current service status might be reported.

Any pointers appreciated. Otherwise we might just have to sit it out.

    You could try following this discussion page but the message on the front page doesnt bode well.

    CPW are a client of mine. The girl I see there is quite senior within the group, and guess what…….not even she can get connection! I made the diplomatic comment that they’re clearly a victim of their own success. She laughed politely as if to say ‘I think we both know that’s not the reason’!

    no better since I was ‘unbundled’ - just makes it impossible for me to leave now, luckily I can get cable to just getting that installed instead, with TT as backup.
