I’ve been tagged by Dave. So here are five things you probably don’t know about me:

1. When I was small I wanted to be an architect, or a tennis star, or Father Christmas. (Today I’m suspicious of architects, have no interest in tennis, and tend to avoid Father Christmases.)
2. I failed drama O-level, which might have been only partly due to my being unable to source a pair of spectacles for the play and making some out of cardboard instead.
3. I once knew a Jehovah’s Witness who tried to convince me of the power of Jesus by hiding and then finding my library card.
4. At school I took up the cello. I was rubbish.
5. I used to make jigsaws. Some of them were okay.

I know almost no-one who’s not already been tagged, but I hereby tag Pashmina and Nicole on the off-chance they’ve not done this already (don’t recall seeing this on their blogs recently), and the certainty that they’ll be entertaining.
