Obligatory MacBook Air post
Yes, the MacBook Air looks terrific. But I’m wary of the Apple cult, reinforced by Steve Jobs’ priestly black shirt and the stubble that suggests he’s just spent three days locked in a room with an unsuspecting victim, without food or water, shouting and thumping a bible at them.
Mind you, as soon as someone picks up the iPhone SDK and turns the iPod Touch into a useful organiser then I’m off down the Apple shop. I found today that my seven year old Palm Vx is no longer supported by Avantgo — surely that’s a sign. (Though possibly a sign that actually the Palm Vx is a perfectly good piece of technology that’s lasted a very long time, and perhaps it deserves more loyalty from me.)
