- Nook, eBook Reader, eBook Device – Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble launch the Nook e-book reader. It does look a lot slicker than plasticky Kindle, and the features seem far superior. Shame about the name, though. It reminds me of a wonderful Garrison Keillor story in which he describes a twee little middle class town with shops called The Cat’s Pajamas, The Shirtery, The Fudgery and Nick’s Book Nook. - Apple – Magic Mouse – The worlds first Multi-Touch mouse.
Apple does great design, and this does take the mouse a step forward. But after seeing the 10/GUI yesterday I’m afraid I just can’t get that excited about the Magic Mouse. Yes, I know the Magic Mouse doesn’t suffer from being vapourware, and has the advantage of being here and working today. But in terms of technology advances, this is a minor step forward by comparison. (apple technology hardware shopping mouse )
